It's Time To Change Your Ear Plugs

BioSoft® Sustainable Bio-Based Ear Plugs Are Changing the Future of Hearing Protection

BioSelect Single-Use Ear Plug Styles

Workers across America wear hearing protection every day to protect themselves from unsafe workplace noises generated from power tools, equipment, traffic and more. Single-use foam ear plugs are the most popular choice for workplace hearing safety because they are versatile and economical but unfortunately conventional polyurethane (PU), or PVC foam ear plugs aren’t recyclable nor do these decompose.

Each day, workers across the world dispose 50 million single-use hearing protectors in landfills where it takes centuries to breakdown. This means the very first earplugs ever produced (including those worn by you) are still intact in landfill.

If you feel guilty about the earplugs you have trashed, and continually trash, you are not alone. To tackle the growing volume of plastic and landfill waste, Eco-conscience P.P.E. suppliers such as PIP® are investing heavily in Research & Development (R&D) for sustainable safety products with limited environmental impact.

Understanding the importance of reducing waste to lower costs and minimize environmental impact, PIP® created a sustainable line of single-use ear plugs. Better for the planet, their new ECOSeries™ BioSoft® biodegradable ear plugs are the very first ear plugs constructed from bio-based technologies!

Complementing their growing ECOSeries™ technology portfolio of sustainable P.P.E, customers can now convert to a sustainable alternative to traditional single-use polyurethane or PVC foam ear plugs and divert landfill, pollution, and micro-plastic without sacrificing comfort or performance.
