Most plastics are derived from petroleum, or oil. Oil is a valuable resource that comes with a lot of negative environmental, social and health impacts. PLA products provide businesses with the option to purchase 100% compostable products made from 100% renewable resources such as corn instead of oil. Divert landfill, lower carbon with this new Eco-material that looks, feels and performs like traditional plastic and is fast replacing petroleum based food serviceware that often result in toxic micro-plastic.
Uniquely made from NatureWorks®, Ingeo™ biopolymer is made from 100% annually renewable and ethically sourced biobased material which is a low-carbon alternative to petrochemical-based plastics and fibers. This innovative natural plastic makes the products you use every day for food packaging and food service applications safer and more sustainable.

BioSelect® plant-based PLA deli sheets made with EarthFirst R-PLA films using Ingeo™ are ASTM-D6400 certified biodegradable and compostable. These crinkly sheets are perfect for lining catering trays, bowls, platters or wrapping sandwiches, desserts, candy apples, suckers, sandwiches, rolls, cookies, snacks or packaging cutlery or napkins for take out. Ideal for receptions, parties, poolside restaurant bars, buffets, street vendors, kioshs, cafeterias, bakeries, festivals, food trucks, outdoor catering services, aquariums, zoo's, theme parks, resorts, bars, cafeterias, facilities, take-out venues and more.
